Amy and Alex’s Intimate Iowa Wedding

This wedding was a very special one for me, as Amy is my cousin. Not only was it wonderful to celebrate her marriage to Alex, but I was also able to spend time with my family.

Amy and Alex’s wedding was also special in that Amy found love again after the tragic loss of her first husband. I was incredibly moved to see the love and care Alex has for both Amy and her daughter Adaline, and was honored to witness the beginnings of this beautiful family.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Amy and Alex were married by our Uncle Dave on the hill overlooking their stunning property. Despite a forecast that called for rain, we were blessed with a completely dry day. The sun even came out from behind the clouds just in time for golden hour portraits.

The reception was full of special touches, from the flower centerpieces Alex grew from seeds, to the cake topper that once graced the wedding cake of Alex’s parents. After a delicious BBQ dinner, we spent the rest of the evening laughing around a bonfire. It was the perfect ending to an awesome day.

Amy and Alex, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding. I love you and am so incredibly happy for you both.
