Kelly and David’s Classic Romantic Winter Wedding

The first time I spoke with Kelly, she mentioned our mutual love of classic writers such as Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. So it was perfectly fitting that her and David’s wedding happened to be on a misty winter day reminiscent of a classic novel setting on the foggy English moorside. Together with her textured thistle and baby’s breath bouquet and long-sleeved lace wedding gown, Kelly’s vintage romance wedding day was complete.

Unfortunately, Kelly’s grandfather passed away before her wedding. She requested a first look with her grandmother, resulting in some of the sweetest photos I captured all day.

I am definitely a girl who loves photographing details. But some things are more important than pretty little things, and that includes authentic, emotional moments with family and friends. When Kelly mentioned how important the photos of her people were to her, I was 100% in agreement. We made sure I was there to capture her mom putting on her veil and her dad seeing her as a bride for the first time.

Congrats, Kelly and David! You two are so sweet and clearly meant for one another. I enjoyed every minute of my time with you and your friends and family. Thank you for inviting me to celebrate with you!
