South Carolina Lowcountry & Savannah, GA

South Carolina is one of those places I knew I would love before I visited. Tropical weather, twisty oaks draped in Spanish moss, columned porches of plantation-style mansions, and spring-time azaleas in bloom…the lowcountry and sea islands of South Carolina did not disappoint.  We rode bikes and kayaked on Hilton Head Island and day-tripped to picturesque Bluffton, Beaufort, and Hunting Island.  Our final day was spent in beautiful Savannah, GA, where we walked miles and miles and ate ALL of the food.

Of course, no trip would be complete without me taking a crazy amount of photos.  These were taken with the Pentax 645N on Kodak Portra 400 and 800 and processed by Indie Film Lab.
