London

After returning from the Cotswolds, my husband and I traveled to London, where we stayed in Notting Hill. While we enjoyed the quiet, neighborhood feel and close proximity to restaurants and Hyde Park, we did not care for the unexpected transit strike that occured the week of our visit. This little hiccup was both a blessing and a curse, as we added MANY more miles of walking than we had originally planned, while also allowing us to take in the different areas of London.

Our walks through London took us to Westminster, St. James, Covent Garden, the City of London, South Kensington, and of course, Notting Hill. We walked an average of 30,000 steps per day, taking in the sights and stopping for afternoon tea when we needed a break.
